We have five different Arabic keyboard layouts for you to download on your computer. Once downloaded - you can use it as a reference to type in Arabic either on Word document or any other text editor. You also need to download the matching Arabic fonts.

To configure your keyboard in Arabic, follow the steps below:
Open your phone's "Settings" app.
Go to Languages & input.
Under "Keyboard and Input" methods, select Arabic keyboard as your choice.
Typing Arabic using keyboard can be hard as you have to memorize all the fonts mapping and you need lots of practise to be fluent.
It is even worse on mobile device as you cannot install specific font and also there are no keyboard with any other font mappings.
Thankfully, there are other easier ways of typing Arabic.
We recommend English to Arabic Typing.
On this website you can easily type in Arabic using Roman (English) keyboard layout.
For E.g if you type "uhiba alkitabat biallughat alearabia" it will be transliterated into "أحب الكتابة باللغة العربية".
So, typing Arabic is as natural as you spell it in English. With this you don’t need to remember font layout or practice Arabic typing for several weeks. Just ensure the browser supports unicode. After typing, you can copy and paste the text anywhere - including, Gmail, Facebook, Twitter and Word documents.
